  1. This was to publicise a theatre production by a group made up of young people and about the young people of Coventry, England during the First World War. It told the true story of a Conscientious Objector who was a stretcher-bearer in the trenches and his friends who all joined the same Regiment and were wiped out. My picture depicts the horrors and result of the fighting with the backdrop of Coventry’s Belgrade Theatre. This was named in recognition and thanks for a gift of timber from the Serbian capital city of Belgrade, that was used in the construction of the auditorium. Thanks for your interest and kind words.
